“Miyako” (literally meant Kyoto)
Lights to celebrate a great art exhibition at Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, introducing the collection of the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto. I wanted to express my appreciation for their supreme qualities of Nihonga, traditional Japanese style painting and crafts which have been cultivated along with modernization since Meiji restoration.

“Seirei” (Elegance)
Inspired from a neck line of a Japanese lady with Kimono drawn by Shoen Uemura. The quality of subtle expressions of females. I feel her loving senses of humbleness, softness, transparency, fragility and grace.
Lights to celebrate a great art exhibition at Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, introducing the collection of the National Museum of Modern Art, Kyoto.
